Here’s a super easy lead guitar lick in the style of Chuck Berry taught by Brian over at ActiveMelody.com. He does a great job breaking the lick down for you as usual.
I feel that every guitar player should go through a Chuck Berry phase when first starting to solo in order to grasp the fundamentals. Chuck’s use of double stops (2 notes played at once) is so rhythmic it almost falls into the rhythm guitar category, but we’ll try not to hold that against it. 😛
