They are the I the IV and the V chords and they are referred to as the Primary Chords.These three chords appear in nearly every chord progression making them the building blocks of most songs. Below is a diagram showing the primary chords in the key of C major. Go ahead and try them out in any order you like, they’ll never let you down.
