Here’s an easy barn-burner of a lick from Marty Schwartz. It fits right in with both rock and blues solos and can lead you right into other pentatonic licks you already know.
This lick is legato for the most part, using many hammer-ons and pull-offs. It is in the key of D Minor and adds the blues note and the natural sixth to the D minor pentatonic scale.
In this lesson Marty has a tendency to veer off track a bit so you’ll be able to see a bunch of different possibilities.
