Here’s a cool sweep picking guitar lesson from guitarnutter1 featuring the monster shredder Rusty Cooley. This lick is utterly terrifying in its speed. It also sounds awesome.
Rusty has created a lick that ascends and descends the G major arpeggio using four different routes. Each route expends the arpeggio’s reach into the higher registers of the guitar. Try practicing each one separately and then join them together when you feel comfortable with them.
