March 6, 2015Texas Blues Shuffle | E Minor Backing Track
Here’s a sleazy sounding Texas Blues Shuffle Backing Track in E minor from BackingtrackTV. I love that they include the chord changes in their videos, this is a big help when you’re trying to change your scale choices to fit each chord. It cuts down on the thinking while your playing, and for me this is always a plus 🙂
This 12 bar blues is in the key of E minor so it’s safe to jam in E minor pentatonic through the whole thing and sound awesome. If you’re looking to kick it up a notch though, you can switch between pentatonic scales as the chords change. Here is the chord progression for the E minor 12 bar blues.
| E7 | E7 | E7 | E7 |
| A7 | A7 | E7 | E7 |
| B9 | A7 | E7 | B7#9 |
