The Super Trill – Fingertapping Illusion

Wikipedia defines a musical trill in this way:

“The trill (or shake, as it was known from the 16th until the 19th century) is a musical ornament consisting of a rapid alternation between two adjacent notes, usually a semitone or tone apart, which can be identified with the context of the trill.”

Sometimes though, a normal trill is not enough. You need…

THE SUPER TRILL!!!

Okay I may have made that sound crazier then it is. The super trill is simply a name that I gave to a finger tapping technique in which you finger tap on the same fret that you are using to hammer-on your trill.

The result is a flurry of notes that would seem impossible to play if you weren’t looking at the person playing them.

If this seems confusing check out the video above and all will become super clear.
